Te Pae (gathering place), the new convention centre, is awe-inspiring art/architecture, if somewhat forbidding. If you are attending a conference there I guess you would find the entrance, but to a passer-by it is closed off.
It was a fresh change to see the chef’s food truck outside at lunch time and people gathering to eat.
